Yesterday was "Ugly Christmas Sweater" day for Wacky Wednesday at Pinkston. The kiddos in Ms. Perryman's class got their workouts in by participating in a few winter brain breaks.

We are in the Christmas season, the time to make our gift list. What better gift to give than a yearbook; the gift that lasts forever.

Pinkston Robotics rocked it at the Springdale competition on Saturday!
They had a top robot score of 260 and came in 6th place out of 27 teams in the robot games. Mrs. Davis won the mentor award and the team won one of the top three awards: the Innovative Solution Award. This award is for their project idea to create a secure place for deliveries to prevent theft. They will be advancing to the State competition in January! Way to go, Pinkston Robotics!

On Thursday, 11/18, the "New Hope" student organization at ASUMH organized by instructor Shelia Priest, purchased 25 Thanksgiving turkeys and sides to complete the holiday meal. They shopped for and donated these Thanksgiving food baskets for Pinkston counselors to distribute to families who could benefit from receiving them. Pictured from L to R are Pinkston counselor, Teresa Eastin, ASUMH students, and ASUMH Instructor, Shelia Priest. We are thankful for this annual partnership with ASUMH students and faculty in order to bless some of our Pinkston families.
