BMI- BMI screening for 10th graders, per ACT 1220 of 2003, is held every spring at MHHS.  Once the nurse receives her password from the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement, she can begin entering the data for all MHHS students who participated in the screening.  Once completed with the data entry, reports will be printed and mailed to the parents. If you have had an address change since the beginning of the school year, please notify the school nurse as soon as possible in order to receive your child’s letter.

Immunizations- The process of immunizations for transfer students is an ongoing process.  If you are new to MHHS, you have 30 calendar days to submit proof of immunizations to the school nurse.  After the nurse has received and reviewed the records, you will be notified of any needed immunizations.

Medications-   All medications must be checked in with the nurse during the school day.  If your child has medication/s that must be carried on his/her person, the nurse requires a doctor’s note to this effect and the parent must complete a medication release form.  These forms may be found in the Nurse’s office and in the handbook.

Please feel free to contact me at school at 425-1215.
