The Office of Special Education is an integral part of the total education system. It is the mission of the department to provide ongoing, quality services for individuals identified with disabilities. By providing a continuum of services including evaluation, identification, placement, instruction, transition and support in the hope the individuals with disabilities will be valued members of the community and live a meaningful, dignified and productive life.
Individuals with disabilities are valued in the Mountain Home School District. The Office of Special Education actively promotes and encourages inclusion of all students in the least restrictive environment. It is the vision of Mountain Home Public Schools to assure access and opportunities for each student as a part of our community which recognizes the value of individuality.
