Per Mountain Home Public School Board Policy, 3.42 (MH), the purpose of the District Curriculum Committee is to review the district curriculum; make recommendations with respect to changes or additions to the curriculum; to make recommendations with respect to the textbooks and other instructional materials; to review and make recommendations concerning instructional methods and procedures; study and make recommendations on other matters as assigned or requested by the Superintendent. The Curriculum Committee shall consist of a minimum of one faculty member per building, the Principal of each building, the GATE Coordinator, the Special Education Coordinator, the Assistant Superintendent, one to three students, one to three parents/citizens and one Board member. Faculty members will be elected to serve on the Curriculum Committee according to content area adoption schedule.
The instructional materials or the tangible items, are used to support instruction and create outcomes for our diverse students.
